Graphic Designer / Illustrator

This position will design and develop graphic and product concepts based on brand standards and trend-based direction. This position is design and illustration focused, but previous experience in merchandising, technical apparel design and product development are a plus. The position requires a well-rounded creative that can juggle multiple projects, successfully track details, and adhere to deadlines. The ability to think holistically and develop designs that are cohesive and tell a story is crucial.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Concept and illustrate engaging designs for apparel and other products
• Immerse yourself in our customer's brands
• Help develop and maintain inspiring, on-trend and fashion forward brand standards across individual products and seasonal collections
• Produce clean and professional comprehensive mockups
• Create and update technical illustrations and construction callouts
• Produce technically clean and well-proofed final electronic files
• Keep up to date on new trends and product concepts
• Proactive problem solving, both technically and creatively, with constant attention to process improvement

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree design, illustration, or apparel development or equivalent work experience required
• Superb eye for style, visual composition, and attention to detail
• Strong design eye and the ability to work in various styles
• Refined typography and illustration skills required
• Solid experience in concept and design for screen print and embroidery
• Strong technical aptitude in Adobe Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Strong time management skills and flexible work approach to ensure deadlines are always met and expectations are always managed
