Our Saint Paul office is seeking a Contracts Specialist to join our team. This role offers flexibility to decide where and when you do your best work.

This role supports the contracts processes within the firm and works closely with both leadership and project team members. If you are a team player with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail, you would make a great addition to BWBR.

Responsibilities of the successful candidate include:

* Create and modify contract related documents as part of a coordinated process with senior leadership, finance, and external clients and consultants.

* Review contracts for project scope, schedule, deliverables, and fees.

* Draft and revise correspondence and cost estimates.

* Assist with contract dispute resolutions.

* Make suggestions for continuous improvements to the contracts process on an ongoing basis.

Ideal candidates will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

* Prior contract review experience in a legal environment.

* Advanced computer and Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

* Ability and willingness to learn new software programs.

* High attention to detail.

* Excellent written communication skills (including grammar and spelling), analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills.

* Strong organizational skills.

* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

* Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team.

* Strong ability to prioritize and complete work for multiple assignments with minimal direction.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Paralegal certificate

* Minimum of three years of experience in a legal setting.
