Reports To: Dog Care Supervisor / Manager

Position Summary:

ADOGO Dog Care Specialists are to conduct themselves in a professional manner with staff members and customers, providing top quality dog care to every daycare and boarding guests.

General Responsibilities:

• Overseeing group daycare in accordance with daycare rules (included in Operations/Processes).
• Taking dogs outside for bathroom breaks and cleaning up yard area.
• Cleaning kennel rooms and daycare areas in addition to washing bowls, blankets/bedding and towels.
• Keep the dog kitchen clean and organized.
• Preparing and feeding meals according to feeding score cards/reports and initial with each feeding.
• Moving dogs to and from daycare and boarding rooms.
• Communicate with Supervisors and/or Front Desk any dog-related issues, when moving dogs or to give dog status updates.
• Able to stand for 5 hours or more and move dogs both on and off leash.
• Have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Able to function in a noisy working environment.
• Able to be outside in both high and low weather conditions.
• Able to perform cleaning and lifting functions such as: power washing, mopping, washing, drying, laundry, picking up dog feces, garbage disposal, restocking supplies, etc.

Able to tolerate cleaning disinfectants, dog feces, urine and vomit odor
