KeyBank's Risk Review Group (i.e. Audit Team) is the and is responsible for:
- Providing independent and objective perspectives on KeyCorp's processes and risks through assessment and testing of theadequacy and effectiveness of Key's risk management policies and practices, and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Providing recommendations to improve risk management practices.
- Providing an objective review of accountabilities, escalation activities, and quality/timeliness of issue resolution.
- Contributing to an organizational culture of respect and personal accountability regarding Diversity and Inclusiveness.

Essential Job Functions
The Senior Audit Strategist will be responsible for the following:
- Demonstration of strong audit skills with a solid understanding of audit concepts within planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Leading large or complex audits and projects of various products and business functions with a focus on BSA/AML and OFAC compliance.
- Performing regulatory research with the ability to apply relevant compliance risks to the strategy/scope associated with the audit.
- Independently demonstrates ability to prioritize; identifies obstacles within the scope of assignments; proactively initiates appropriate solutions with limited oversight; assists staff with prioritization of assignments with minimal assistance from Manager.
- Demonstrates ability to develop and manage an audit strategy.
- Strong business and audit writing skills; can cohesively present and organize information; effectively articulates key points; ability to adapt message to audience within the scope of assignments.
- Formally documents findings for management.
- Demonstrates ability to deliver thoughtful and organized message to line of business in both written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrates ability to build relationships with clients and ability to act as a trusted risk advisor.
- Demonstrates influence/challenge skills within the team, clients, and manager (e.g., appropriate challenging risks, scope, and providing thoughtful suggestions).
- Acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for BSA/AML and OFAC related topics.
- Demonstrates the ability to work in a productive, collaborative and cooperative way with a variety of people.
Additional Duties
The Senior Audit Strategist should possess the following skillsets:
- Knowledge of BSA/AML and OFAC regulatory requirements.
- Independent ability to multi-task and prioritize projects to consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong ability to build relationships with clients and teammates.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor staff and team members.
- Advanced ability to review other's audit work and provide valuable feedback.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 7+ years of audit or related experience.
- Strong understanding of business, industry and regulatory concepts related to banking.
- Ability to draw insight from risk intelligence and make valuable recommendations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
