0Job Description:Responsibilities:
* Arranges and stores incoming records according to procedure/protocol.
* Finds, researches and answers questions about records and files from authorized users.
* Purges materials according to file maintenance guidelines and/or legal requirements.
* Performs periodic inspections of materials or files in order to ensure correct placement, legibility,
and proper condition.
* Releases information from medical records in response to properly authorized requests. Follows all
regulations regarding the release of health information whose confidentiality is protected by state and
federal laws.
Complexity of Work:
* Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
* Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Required: None
Preferred: High school diploma or GED
