*Overview:*
Kings Dominion is currently looking for qualified performers and support staff for our Grand Carnivale Festival and Parade!

*Performers*
*Currently hiring Actors and Dancers*
Responsibilities
* Performs for guests as an Actor and/or Dancer.
* Previous training in acting and/or dance is preferred.
* Attends rehearsals and learns choreography/character work for all shows/performances assigned.
* Poses for photos with the guests.
* Dancers must have the ability to dance and maintain choreography throughout the event as set by the Choreographer, Director and Management.
* All performers must have the ability to demonstrate and maintain stage presence as appropriate for a specific stylized show.

*Event Activators & Parade Support*
Activators get the party started! These are friendly and enthusiastic team players who demonstrate basic acting ability and stage presence and can interact with guests, play games and do other activities during Grand Carnivale.
Responsibilities
* Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
* Enthusiastically participates in the parade and helps keep guests safe off the parade route.
* Familiarizes self with Festival show times and descriptions.
* Assists guests, especially children with craft activities, and possibly participating in the parade as a bead thrower or balloon holder.
* Helps to enforce policies and procedures so guests may have an enjoyable experience.
* Counts guests as they enter and records total show attendance. Ensures guests follow the rules and policies of the facility.
* Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area, performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements, and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
*We're Looking For:*
* Must be willing to work in outdoor environments.
* Must have a relevant resume and performance reel for performer positions.
* Must be able to stand for extended periods.
* Must be at least 16 years of age.
* Guest service experience is a plus.
* Open Availability.
* Applicant must be able to have only one day off a week.
* Ability to work well without constant supervision.
* Meets park standards for performance and conduct.
* Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area, performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements, and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
* Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
* Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
* Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
* Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
