Job Description:

Position Title: Legal Administrator

Position Purpose: Provide project management assistance to the Law Department.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage Law Department invoicing and contract database system, as well as company's record storage needs.
  • Coordinate the annual printing and distribution of the company's Code of Ethics.
  • Maintain Litigation and Compliance Summary report for quarterly Board of Directors meetings, and manage HR compliance matters.
  • Assist with various intellectual property, compliance, real estate matters and corporate issues.

Daily / Periodic Tasks :

  • Manage Law Department invoicing and settlement payments, maintaining an invoice tracker to ensure all vendors are paid in a timely manner. Maintain communication with attorneys and vendors to ensure open items and issues are resolved quickly.
  • Manage Law Department contract database system and e-signature tool. Ensure all contracts are uploaded and easily searchable for future reference. Serve as administrator and internal lead for these systems for other TreeHouse departments and functions.
  • Work cross-functionally with business units to help ensure compliance requirements are satisfied and reported, and company-wide Code of Ethics and Civil Treatment Training are successfully executed.
  • Manage the company's offsite record storage process, assist in transition to electronic storage where possible.
  • Assist with intellectual property portfolio
  • Assist with corporate entity record keeping and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Associates

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities required:

Specific experience required:

MS Office. Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook

Experience in real estate and commercial transactions strongly preferred. Certification/Licensure Required for Job:

Paralegal Certificate (preferred but not required)
