Job Description

Do you like a fast-paced work environment, where the equipment is updating continuously! We are now hiring for our Metal Lab Technician position. We offer TOP PAY and this opportunity may just be the right fit for you!

Metal Lab Technician Qualifications:  Candidates must have proficient computer skills and experience in quality control. Must have the ability to work in our foundry manufacturing facility.

Education:  High school diploma or GED, Certificate or vocational education preferred


Duties and Responsibilities: Verify properties of aluminum and steel use spectrometer, tensile tester, and conductivity tester. Use a Lathe to create a clean smooth surface to test. Perform maintenance of testing equipment. Properly log data, reports, maintain logs, and store tested materials. Processes casting that have been deemed ready for rework.  Perform testing on dry and green sand samples. Prepare and process metallurgical sample for review by Degreed Metallurgist or equivalent. Work with all departments to insure product move through the lab as quickly as possible. Maintain the highest standards of quality to insure only the best product are produced for our customers.

PAY we offer TOP PAY  for experience up to $25.85 per hour

HOURS we have two shifts 1st 6:00 am to 2:00 pm - 2nd 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm                                                                
This position will be on 2nd shift long term.
