Job Description
Shepherd's Care is a continually growing Christian Childcare Center located in Maple Grove, We are committed to providing a quality education (NAEYC accredited) and a solid Christian foundation for children 6-weeks through Pre-K. This position requires you to assist the teachers in providing a warm and nurturing environment for children to meet their physical, mental, spiritual, social and emotional needs. Responsible for performing duties in accordance with policies and procedures. Works under direct supervision of the Teacher and Assistant Teacher. Must be pleasant, respectful, and courteous to all children, families, visitors and fellow employees at all times.
JOB SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Understands and enjoys children.
Must be able to deal with people under all conditions.
Must be available to work varied hours.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must be able to perform physical job demands of position, including lifting and getting up and down from the floor.
Must abide by the Shepherd’s Care Code of Ethics.
This position is Monday - Friday
