Job Description

ChampionX is seeking a Software Sales Representative for our Theta Software team based in Denver, Colorado. The Software SalesRepresentative isresponsibleforexecutingthe regionalsales strategy that drives revenue objectives for the Theta Software solutions within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish new customer prospects within the assigned territory.

  • Work effectively with potential and current customers to understand business needs and recommend solutions that assist the customer in meeting their productivity objectives.

  • Partner with Technical Sales Engineers to deliver technical presentations that provide solutions to customers through XSPOC or other Theta software solutions.

  • Develop and negotiate pricing/contracts with customers.

  • Provide sales forecast for the assigned territory and maintain sales activity through Salesforce.

  • Effectively utilize sales tools such as, sales processes, marketing materials, technical sales presentations, and training tools to effectively achieve sales goals.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Strong sales network within software with a proven success in acquiring new customers.

  • Customer focus mindset, with the ability to execute effective sales plans

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills including the ability to present andpersuade at the leadership level.

  • Excellent negotiation skills.

  • Competitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company.

  • Preferred, knowledge of Artificial Lift and Well Optimization

  • Available for inter-regional travel up to 40%.

Experience/Education Required:

  • 5 years of overall sales experience.

  • 2 years of experience selling software solutions.

  • Bachelor's Degree or a combination of formal training and relevant work experience

Physical Demands:

  • Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing

  • Minimal lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs.

  • Frequent dialing, sitting, standing, driving required.

  • Constant keyboard use, walking, seeing, hearing, writing and speaking possible.

Compensation:

$100,000 -$120,000 DOE + Commission
