Position Summary
The Associate Director, Marketing and Communications is a local marketing team leader who drives strategic marketing plans for undergraduate enrollment. This role will oversee the day-to-day marketing portfolio and outputs of a team of talented marketers, across 4 practice areas (growth, content, engagement, and pipeline), ensuring alignment and consistency across the prospective student journey. Additionally, the Associate Director will collaborate across two other campus-based associate directors in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai on shared initiatives and ensuring proper support and distribution of resources. The Associate Director will liaise with prospective-student-facing offices, including the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, including the Pipeline division, University Relations & Public Affairs, Visitor Relations and Special Events, School & College Counterparts, and the Office of Financial Aid.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in marketing, communications or related field. Bachelor's Degree in these fields preferred as well.

Required Experience:
5+ years experience in marketing and communications. Management experience

Preferred Experience:
Experience working in a higher education context or non-profit organization is preferred, but not required. Experience with email and web content management systems.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Independent and critical thinker with experience in leading data-driven, marketing strategies across a wide-variety of channels - print, digital, paid media, PR, and social media. Superior written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills; Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and manage multiple projects and priorities; Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with and across teams and to function well in a larger and global environment; Results and detail oriented, highly organized and creative self-starter ; Ability to set goals and easily adapt to changing demands; Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required by admissions events

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficient in HTML. Proficiency in web content development methodology, software, and standards. Familiarity with Slate CRM.
