Job Description

To better serve our internal and external customer base, Nilfisk is seeking a Field Operations Sales Specialist to assist our regions with contract sales and increased service work by contacting our established customer base and new customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Field Operations Sales Specialist primary goal is to support service development and improve customer experience by contacting customers for increased service retention and the promotion and selling of contracts and service work. The position will support the Region and Director with strategic planning, lead generation and qualification, and day-to-day administration. They will help to support and fulfill the Service Process, while executing Contract campaigns and Service campaigns that target specific industries and initiatives as determined by our existing customer base and new customers.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Planning

  • Work as a team with Regions and Director to penetrate all accounts, as determined by existing customers or new customers
  • Work with Director to develop call plans and required touchpoints to ensure required activity per day is met and results in contract attachments.

Prospecting

  • Develop and execute Contract campaigns and Service campaigns
  • Work with Director to develop cold call target lists; complete cold calls and qualify and finalize Contract attachment.
  • Follow-up on all customers requiring assistance in contracts and Service

Service Calls

  • Follow-up with end-users on open opportunities; record notes and next steps in SFDC
  • Follow-up with customers 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month post-sale and installation of new equipment to solidify Nilfisk as their premier servicing partner and check about contract attachment.

Customer Support

  • Provide basic troubleshooting and triage repairs; involve service operations when needed.

Triage and Solution Customer Issues

  • Generate customer quotes as directed by Director
  • Facilitate New Account Set-Up Process if new customer
  • Review performance reporting and take action to solve customer challenges
