We are a talented and nimble team working on a wide-spectrum of building types and very interesting projects, including: hospital master planning, inpatient and outpatient remodeling projects, clinics of every imaginable size and specialty, environments for aging, health & wellness facilities, bio-medical research labs, clinical labs & healthcare retail.
Our team is currently looking for an experienced Interior Designer who will be responsible for interpreting, organizing and executing the conceptual design of a project. They are an integral part of the team and are accountable to meet project requirements and objectives through project completion.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishes the design vision and leads the efforts to execute the design intent
- Project Delivery: responsible for all interior aspects of project delivery
- Responsible for building new and future "trusted-partner" relationships in support of successful project delivery
- Leads by example, acts as a resource for encouraging team members' professional development, mentorship of Interior Designers
- Participate in all phases of an Interiors project including programming, space planning, design development, construction documentation and construction administration
- Coordinate and direct the work of consultants
- Introduce new design concepts and workplace strategies to corporate clients through industry research and a working knowledge of techniques and products used in commercial environments
- Responsible to meet all aspects of contract requirements set by the Project Manager
What we are looking for:
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite required
- Lumion preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of FF&E selection and specification required
- Fundamental understanding of commercial building codes required
- High level of space planning skill required
- Highly skilled in preparing design and presentation documents required
- Independently manages multiple projects and tasks
- Self-initiated work style, seeks out the next step
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to travel
Qualifications:
- Professional Degree in Interior Design from CIDA accredited school required
- 5 - 7 years Interior Design experience in a commercial design firm required
- Experience working on medium to large scale corporate office projects preferred
- NCIDQ and CID required
- LEED AP and WELL AP a plus
