Position Purpose
In supporting diverse agricultural and rural communities, this internship will support AgriBank and Compeer Financial, while introducing students to the structure and operations of key business areas such as:

• Lending/Credit
• Treasury/Cash Management
• Enterprise Risk Management

The intern's experience will culminate in a capstone project and presentation.

Essential Functions:

• Support key business areas by collaborating on funding operations, projects, and initiatives
• Learn the financial products, operations, funding structure, and services of AgriBank and Compeer Financial

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Pursuing a degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, agriculture, or a related field
• Ideally, proficiency with office software, such as Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills

Additional Information:

• Must be a current student (incoming Juniors or Seniors)
• Must be available to be located in Minnesota or western Wisconsin from June, 2022 through August, 2022
• Assistance will be provided for transportation and housing
• HBCU students may be eligible for $3,500 under the Farm Credit's Launching Leaders Stipend
