Job Description
We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our Facility Licensing team.
Position Description
The primary function of this role is to submit new and renewal state license applications for our distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrates clear and concise communication with team members.
Demonstrates understanding of the law and the ability to interpret the application questions as they relate to the business.
Demonstrates outstanding ability to work effectively in teams and build relationships.
Utilize critical thinking skills to resolve issues
Present information to support the regulatory team
Maintain regulatory files and tracking databases
Communicate with internal contacts on routine issues
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of related experience. Desired backgrounds may include healthcare, Medicare, pharmaceuticals, biologics manufacturing, or clinical research.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Some knowledge of regulatory affairs requirements for distributors at the state and federal levels is beneficial; not required
Understanding of McKesson entity structure
Excellent decision-making capabilities
Highly detail oriented and organized
Ability to research and analyze applicable regulation
Strong oral and written communications skills
Previous experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals or clinical desired
Advanced proficiency in Acrobat, MS Office Word, Outlook and Excel
Education
4-year degree or equivalent experience
