Presidio is hiring a Cloud Security Architect to work with top-tier customers and promote Cloud Adoption and Security best practices. As a Cloud Security Architect, you will partner with customers, Presidio Sales and several other Presidio teams to create solutions that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of Cloud Security services.

The ideal candidate must be broadly competent across many areas of technology with deep experience in either Cyber Security, Identity Management, or Application Security. We are looking for individuals with total quality mindset, able to create a frictionless adoption of security practices. The ability to balance compliance and risk requirements with the business's need to create value is critical.

YOU MIGHT WORK ON

• Interacting with several customer stakeholders, including developers, team leads, engineering directors, and CxOs.
• Establish yourself as a Trusted Advisor to our customers and internal delivery teams
• Advise and architect on Cloud Infrastructure, Applications, and Identity Management solutions
• Performing code reviews of our own and customers' services and apps including SaaS, PaaS, and mobile
• Assist or lead in threat modeling and secure design activities
• Collaborating with engineers on the best ways to mitigate vulnerabilities and reduce risk
• Participating in our incident response and vulnerability remediation efforts
• Integrating external and internal security tools and automation into development and build environments
• Developing lightweight SDLC processes to embed into engagement deliveries and Software Engineering workflows
• Develop secure coding practices and train engineering teams
• Interface with customers' and our own security teams when they are scoping and performing security assessments
• Helping to rapidly scale our team. As a member of the security team, you'll be an integral part of how we mature our own tooling, best practices, engineering processes, and hiring

ABOUT YOU

• 5+ years' work experience in an application security or product security role including experience with code reviews, pentesting, and ideally threat modeling
• 5-10+ years' experience in systems/security engineering, cloud engineering, identity & access management, or software development/architecture
• Have one or more technical certifications related to cloud and application security
  • e.g., AWS/Azure Security, Okta Professional, or Palo Alto Prisma Cloud Security Engineer.
• Highly desired to have one or more cybersecurity industry certification
  • e.g., CCSK, Cloud Security Professional, Cloud+, CCSP, CISSP, CISM, CSSLP
• Strong communicator with the ability to translate technical security requirements and risks into terms that anyone can understand
• In-depth experience finding AND fixing web application security vulnerabilities including those found in the OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25
• Relevant development experience in multiple programming languages, preferably: Java, .Net, Python, Javascript/Typescript
• Strong, general knowledge of the browser security model, modern network security, cloud security, and compliance frameworks
  • e.g., BSIMMS, OpenSAMM, DSOMM, or CMMI Cybersecurity
• Great communication skills. Prompt response and action when needed. People rarely need to follow up with you.
• Be customer obsessed
• Technical leadership skills: you enjoy being a tech lead, mentoring technologists, and evangelizing security and privacy
• Embrace a Shift-Left approach to security awareness and culture
• Comfortable with complexity in the short term but can build towards simplicity in the long term
