Job Description

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Rainin, LLC (MTD on S&P 500) is looking for a New Accounts Sales Representative to join our Sales team in the Boston Area. This candidate is a true "hunter" and is responsible for identifying new and under-penetrated accounts where Rainin manual liquid handling solutions would be an ideal fit. Main Duties include:
  • Utilizing a value-selling approach, the New Account Sales Rep will establish relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders including end-users, procurement managers, and scientific operations leaders to drive initial adoption of Rainin solutions.
  • The New Account Sales Rep will work closely with Field Sales and Inside Sales Representatives to transition new customers to these adjacent sales teams for ongoing support and to further drive sales growth.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in a life sciences discipline
  • 2 or more years of customer-facing sales experience in the Life Science Research marketplace
  • Experience identifying new business opportunities and onboarding new customers in the Life Science Research marketplace
  • Computer skills: SAP CRM, Excel, Remote Meeting Tools, Email tools
