Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to help evolve our self-service strategy and toolkit to enable leadership, sales, product, and other stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. This role requires a candidate who is energized by solving complex problems, is driven to enable users to succeed, and can build effective stakeholder relationships.

What You'll Do

Like most growing companies, the job content of all positions varies daily as everyone pitches in to get the job done. Nonetheless, we try to maintain clarity with respect to employees' primary responsibilities.

• Partner with leadership, sales, product, and other stakeholders to understand and define their analytics needs
• Own the end-to-end development, design, and maintenance of Tableau dashboards
• Obtain a deep understanding of the capabilities and nuances of the data stack powering our analytics solutions
• Work cross functionally to find ways to scale our insights through better systems and automation
• Strive to strike the right balance between innovation, maintenance, and sustainability when determining priorities
• Educate and support our internal stakeholders in adopting business intelligence tools for self-service
• Perform QA on our automated processes and investigate anomalies
• Use Tableau, Alteryx, and Excel to prove value and develop "needle in a haystack" insights

About You

Our ideal candidate is curious, thrives in a constantly changing environment, and loves leveraging data to tell stories. This individual will be the go-to data expert who can connect the dots for customers and colleagues. Specific qualifications include:

• BA/BS or equivalent
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in analytics role
• Curious problem solver by nature; able to quickly make sense of complex data issues
• Driven, self-motivated, team player adept at working in environment with competing priorities
• Strong experience with data mining, analysis, and providing insights
• Adept at creating queries, writing reports and presenting findings
• Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in SQL
• Advanced proficiency in visualization tools e.g. Excel, Tableau, Domo, etc.
• Advanced proficiency in ETL tools e.g. Alteryx
• Able to communicate and manage expectations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills including to senior leadership and external stakeholders; able to "think on your feet" and respond to questions where the answer is not known or not straightforward.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required
