Business Development Managers are Subject Matter Experts in Managed Services, Contact Center Technologies, Carrier & Colo Solutions, AWS, Cloud and or Security who work with the local AMs and leadership to sell into existing client base as well as the opportunity to identify and solicit new name/new business. from available offerings.

Charter: Drive Presidio Federal forecast and awarded business in their assigned territory through development and execution of full capture strategies for validated opportunities handed off by Business Development at the point of qualification.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Understand client needs, qualify opportunities, present to management along with bid and pursuit budget approval request, and plan to enhance PWIN over the course of a well defined strategy with supporting tactics.

  • Lead efforts to establish differentiators and win themes specific to Presidio Federal's solution, technical and management approach, and shape and influence the client's requirements and acquisition method (vehicle, evaluation criterion, scoring, contractual T's and C's) to enhance PWIN, through a well defined call plan with clear objectives.
  • Develop and execute a strategic teaming partner strategy designed to fill gaps in both the Presidio solution, past performance and quals and credibility, finding and on boarding teaming partners and negotiating workshare and statements of work with deliverables and proposal support expectations.
  • Design and lead competitive analysis, pricing strategy, price to win analysis, black hat / wargaming sessions.
  • Work with proposal management to develop a proposal strategy and schedule, identify proposal risks, and work to mitigate them in advance of RFP release.
  • Consistently manage bid and proposal budget while keeping management well briefed on progress on all aspects of the capture strategy and its impact on PWIN, through gate reviews.
  • Collaborate with proposal management on executive summary, storyboarding, story telling narrative, win themes, ghosting of competition, business volume and pricing, and color reviews once proposal is in process.
  • Responsible for submitting compelling and compliant proposals in conjunction with proposal management and responding to ENs when necessary.
  • Conduct Win/Loss analysis and present to senior leadership
  • Negotiate final contract awards working with contracts, pricing and delivery PM, staff and leadership.
  • Close $15m TCV within the first year.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Manage B&P Budget
  • Drive capture strategy and manage all resources involved in capture and proposal management including those resources allocated by teaming partners.
  • Coordinate between contracts, finance, technical delivery, risk, PMO, and other resources and teams to ensure an "all in" approach to winning the business.
  • Maintain client contact and understanding of dynamically changing needs.
  • Shape and influence elements of the opportunity such as to enhance Presidio Federal PWIN.
