Job Description
Senior Business Analyst - Health Systems & Specialty Services (00002375)


This role provides comprehensive expertise and support of business analytics enabling the organization to make informed business decisions. This individual will work cross functionally supporting valuation analysis of build, buy or partner opportunities, including business case pro-forma development, due diligence support and financial models to support commercial deal strategy.

1.Work cross functionally with business stakeholders providing analytics expertise of various data types
2.Support acquisition, partnership and solution development valuation analysis, including financial analysis and modeling
3.Analyzes data inaccuracies and recommends process improvements and best practices to enhance overall data integrity and quality of the data
4.Leverages knowledge of business analytics and underlying data sources and builds up specific business data domain expertise
5.Validates data to ensure accuracy and quality
6.Monitor, assess, and identify methods to improve processes, services, and analysis.
7.Identifies opportunities and supports the development of new tools and processes to enhance the quality of enterprise data
8.Assists with special projects and generates ad hoc analysis reports as needed.
9.Manage through roadblocks ensuring for optimal cross company collaboration and efficiency.
10.Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, strategy, operations management, supply chain or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program. MBA preferred. Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. Prefer previous experience in consulting, public accounting and / or prior investment banking followed by experience in a healthcare corporate environment.


1.Proven ability to work analytically; synthesizing vast data into relevant, actionable information
2.Extensive financial expertise including working knowledge of merger and acquisition financial evaluations
3.Ability to exercise independent judgment and provide insight and recommendations to upper level management
4.Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, quantitative skills and financial acumen
5.Working knowledge of data analysis tools (SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI)
6.Proficient with Microsoft Applications including Excel and Access is required.
7.Self-starter with ability to work independently and comfort with ambiguity
8.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
9.Excellent written and verbal communication skills
10.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others
11.Demonstrated history of high-level support to a business manager
12.Understands market trends and operating assumptions
