Current Need

We are seeking a Senior Escalation Analyst to join the McKesson Medical-Surgical team! This position can be based in Jacksonville, FL; Richmond, VA; or Plymouth, MN.

Position Description

The Senior Escalation Analyst is responsible for analyzing the status of existing and new accounts to ensure the proper accounting procedures and policies are followed, and for coordinating between customers and internal parties to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Correspond and negotiate with complex and/or large dollar accounts

  • Discuss account resolution with internal parties

  • Perform complex problem-solving

  • Responsible for training and mentoring new hires for the team and share expertise and best practices with colleagues.

Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience

Critical Skills

  • 2+ years' experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit and/or B2B Collections

  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel including vlookups

  • Experience with JDE, SalesForce, or GetPaid a plus

Education/Training

BA in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent business experience

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Decision making, initiative, and the ability to resolve difficult and complex issues

  • Analytical skills in reviewing trend data and exception recognition

  • Strong customer focus

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel

  • Ethical conduct

  • Thorough in work

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Ability to handle difficult conversations with Senior Leaders at the customer

Physical Requirements

  • Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required

  • General office demands
