A Senior IT IaaS Devops Cloud Engineer is responsible for serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Azure Infrastructure. This role will act as the most senior Devops engineer on a cloud management team tasked with developing a system of management for cloud infrastructure to be delivered as a commercial product. This system of management will focus on developing tools to automate everything, including but not limited to infrastructure, policy, security configuration and logging/monitoring. This Devops Team will help partnering cloud teams understand the use and boundaries of the tools that are developed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a Devops Engineering Team to develop tools produced through a Devops pipeline that will automate the deployment, hardening and policy configuration of cloud infrastructure for use by our partnering cloud application and infrastructure teams
• Actively participate in the development and socialization of Infrastructure Solution Road Maps as part of the organizations Product Delivery
• Partner with our cloud migration teams to strategize how to effectively and efficiently perform on premise to cloud migrations within the guardrails set by the Devops Engineering Team
• Maintain architectural diagram designs and documentation to help partnering cloud infrastructure and application teams to understand the boundaries and capabilities of the tools available to them
• Act in a strategic capacity as a senior technical expert for all current Azure Cloud based solutions while keeping abreast of future Azure Cloud solutions
• Develop and direct other Cloud engineers

• 6-8 years enterprise infrastructure experiencewith understanding of Cloud Compute, Storage and Networking with at least1-year hands on experience working with production workloads in a public cloudenvironment
• 3-5 years working in or around public or privatecloud environments
• 2-3 years working in Microsoft Azure in asolution engineer or architect role
• Workflow automation experience with Jenkins, ARMTemplates, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or other Devops tools
• Scripting experience with Terraform, PowerShell, Python, or equivalent language

PreferredQualifications:

• Bachelor's or equivalent Degree in ComputerScience or a related engineering field
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions ArchitectExpert Certification
• Healthcare IT experience with compliance such asHIPAA and/or HITRUST, experience with security controls
• ITIL v3 certification
• Background in Azure monitoring, alerting, anddiagnostics, including Application Insights, Log Analytics, Network Monitoring,Service Health, and dashboards
• Provide engineering / architectural support ofcontainers as a service on Azure cloud
