Coloplast has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager, Health Economics and Reimbursement to join our Interventional Urology team.
The Coloplast Interventional Urology Health Economics and Market Access Sr. Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the overall health economic strategy for the Coloplast Interventional Urology business. This critical role is a new function on our marketing team focused on improving our economic evidence marketing capabilities to further our growth agenda. This person will be an integral part of developing evidence-based value propositions to strengthen our competitive advantage in a changing healthcare environment. By developing and executing strategies, programs and tools that integrate health economics evidence, reimbursement strategy, outcomes research and market access solutions, you will be part of enabling success of current and new offerings.
This role reports into the Director, Downstream Marketing for Interventional Urology.
Major Areas of Accountability:
- Support implementation of reimbursement and value selling strategies and activities for Coloplast Interventional Urology working with divisional staff and key internal and external stakeholders:
- Develop and lead a team of health economics, market access, and reimbursement specialists
- Develop and implement reimbursement, health economics, market access, and value selling strategies to promote growth of devices within the IU division. Work in partnership with sales and sales leadership to plan and prioritize customer meetings to deliver value selling messages to drive Coloplast IU priorities.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Clinical and Health Economics teams to anticipate market needs and inform the development of customer-facing tools, economic models and other tactical elements of reimbursement to maximize patient access to Coloplast IU technologies.
- Ensure health economic and value selling methodologies and messages are consistent across the organization and compliant with legal and regulatory guidance.
- In-house expert in health economic dynamics related to Interventional Urology
- Work closely with our Marketing, Sales and National Sales team to create specific evidence and tools to communicate our health economics benefits to key customers, including IDN's and GPO's
- Lead the development and planning of health economic studies that meet business objectives
- Monitor latest health economic trends and assess impact to our business

Basic Qualifications
|
- Bachelor's degree with focus in life science, health economics, statistics, marketing or related field
- Advanced degree (e.g. MBA, MPH, PhD) preferred
- A minimum of 5-7 years of medical device/technology industry, pharmaceuticals, managed care and/or health related industry
- Strong understanding and application of principles and concepts in health economics, reimbursement and/or market access
- Strong business acumen; experience working with various business partners (Sales, Marketing, Medical Marketing, Clinical)
- Success in developing and executing strategies and tools that showcase the healthcare economic benefit of specific therapies and products
- Experience working with healthcare stakeholders (payers, hospitals), trade associations, professional and medical organizations and ability to develop mutually beneficial health economics initiatives
- In-depth understanding of and experience in Health Technology Assessment preferred
- Familiarity with coverage and coding of Interventional Urology products
- Knowledge of clinical and economic modelling in healthcare
- Travel up to 25%, primarily domestic
