Job Description

As a Senior Software Developer at C.H. Robinson, you will use your strong collaboration, communication, and experience with Microsoft Dynamics CE to enhance our solutions for our CRM platform (Atmosphere). In this role, you will be responsible for development stream which includes: technical analysis, functional and technical design, development, monitoring, and testing solutions with complex system integration between our domain and the Dynamics 365 CE platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform development tasks related to configuration, customized plugins and workflow activities, preparing test plans, and process flows and business rules
  • Partner closely with our team leads to design and drive technical vision within Dynamics CE
  • Perform code reviews and participate in the mentorship to other developers in Dynamics CE development
  • Participate in or lead mid and lower level design discussions
  • Identify potential design risks in system design, data integrations, migrations, reporting and infrastructure
  • Maintain and enhance Azure functions for nightly intersystem integrations
  • Support and enhance solutions integration layer services
  • Translate high-level requirements into detailed designs
  • Assist business analysts in writing agile stories and acceptance criteria that are more technical in nature
  • Provide accurate technical estimates
  • Assist the team promote code within our DevOps pipeline/code and assist in resolving promotion issues or impediments
  • Write and recognize high quality code that will integrate within our domain and cloud-based applications
  • Deliver complete unit test coverage to prove correctness, robustness, and scalability
  • Ensure the systems your teams are responsible for are performant and appropriately monitored
  • Participate in resolution of production issues to determine root cause, create corrective action plan(s), and assist in preparing a summary business communication
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of development and analysis experience with Dynamics 365 CE product family (includes CRM Dynamics, Dynamics CRM, Dynamic 365, D365)
  • 1+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 CE online version
  • 5+ years of experience in a development role
  • Experience with C#/.Net, JavaScript, Service Stack, Web API or Restful API design
  • Experience with Object-oriented analysis design and development
  • Accomplished use with version control systems (i.e. TFS, GitHub)
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Solution, form and sitemap customization
  • Plug-ins and custom workflow development
  • HTML/HTML5 (PowerApps PCF)
  • Dynamics 365 CE security model
  • Azure Relay or ESB familiarity
  • SQL, SSIS and FetchXML-based reports
  • Testing framework (i.e. Selenium or Fake XRM Easy)
  • Experience in iterative and incremental development (agile)
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
