We are searching for an energetic individual with strong communication, documentation and organizational skills who is also very detail oriented for our IT Systems Management Consultant opening in our Minnetonka, MN or Plymouth, MN office. This position is part of the Problem Management team under Enterprise Hosting Services which supports over 19,000 server devices for Optum. This individual must have the ability and desire to interact with a large technically able group of people to provide accuracy analysis, documentation organization and training coordination.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Linux experience
• 3+ Years VMWare
• 1 + year of C#, Powershell and/or other scripting tool
• Experience working in an ITIL environment
• Working knowledge of network fundamentals (i.e. LAN/WAN)
• Bash shell, sed/awk, Perl, Python, C knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated success working within a collaborative team environment
• Proven ability to multi-task and sense of urgency
• Detail orientation
• Windows experience is really nice to have
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation if needed
