Primary Responsibilities:

  • Involved in configuring Jenkins jobs in such a way that fetches source code from GitHub repository using Jenkinsfile and Responsible for Build Automation, Continuous Build and Deployment and Systems Configuration Management of multiple builds
  • Extensively working on Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift for continuous integration and for End to End automation for all build and deployment. Designed and created multiple deployment strategies using Jenkins
  • Implemented and designed strategies for Continuous integration (CI) and Continuous deployment (CD) pipelines using Jenkinsfile which automates the deployment process initiating the polling changes from source repository does the maven build and unit testing
  • Implemented code quality reviews using SonarQube code quality analyzer and fortify scans for application security during the build process using Maven and NPM build tool(s)
  • Configure Jenkins to establish communication with various tools such JFrog Artifactory, Docker Trusted Registry which are used during the code build process
  • Create 'Continuous Integration' and 'Continuous Deployment' pipeline by writing scripts in Groovy scripting language
  • Write Docker scripts to add multiple Docker Linux slave nodes which support multiple projects based on different languages such as Java, Node.js, Spring Boot, MuleSoft, IBM ODM
  • Configure Decision Center and Decision Server consoles for IBM ODM in OpenShift Cloud on Linux platform for rules deployment
  • Implemented OpenShift to deploy scale, load balance and manage docker containers with multiple name spaced versions
  • Configure the RedHat OpenShift cloud platform which includes creation of routing services, mapping NAS mounts, attaching PVC mounts to the appropriate API services
  • Involved in administering Linux servers, such as Installation, Configuration, Backup, Recovery. Installation and upgradation of Packages, configuration management and reviewing connectivity
  • Design and containerize micro service(s) application(s) using docker and deployed on to OpenShift Containerized platform
  • Created environments and deployed builds to different environments like DEV, TEST, SIT, QA, UAT environments by integrating Jenkins and Chef configuration management tool
  • Implemented monitoring tools: Splunk for log monitoring, SiteScope for Database monitoring and application monitoring using endpoint(s), Dynatrace for pod/container level metrics and alerting notification(s)
  • Installed and configured all the microservices with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering
  • Shell/batch, Groovy scripting knowledge
  • Proficient in Linux commands - good hands-on experience in troubleshooting
  • Possess a strong command of software-automation production systems
  • Experience with Openshift container and Docker
  • Design and implement Red Hat OpenShift solution architecture
  • Programming Languages:Scala, Java, SQL, Groovy
  • Web Technologies:HTML, JavaScript, XML, Node.js
  • Web Servers:Apache Tomcat, IBM Web sphere, Springboot, JBOSS, MuleSoft
  • Server Virtualization Tools:Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes, VMWare ESX/ESXi, OpenShift
  • Tracking Tools:JIRA, Clear Quest, Rally
  • Scripting Languages:Python, Shell Script, PowerShell, JSON
  • AWS services:EC-2, ELB, VPC, RDS, IAM, Cloud formation, S3, Cloud watch, Cloud trial, SNS, SQS, SWF, EBS, Route 53, Manage VM?s with Public/Private subnet, Migrated applications to the AWS cloud, Dynamo DB, AWS Kinesis
  • Cloud Computing Services:Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure Knowledge
  • Configuration Management:Chef, Ansible
  • CI tools:Jenkins, Team City, Bamboo
  • Build Tool:ANT, MAVEN, Node.js, NPM, Angular CLI
  • SCM Tool:Subversion (SVN), GitHub, Bitbucket
