DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Product Quality Engineer acts as the organization’s primary point of contact for all quality matters for their assigned customer base. This includes, but is not limited to managing customer audits, coordinating customer driven continuous improvement activities, managing customer corrective actions, review of sub-tier purchase orders, as well as releasing product as a customer-approved delegate. In addition, the Product Quality Engineer is responsible for developing product flow diagrams, quality plans, and aids in the development of FMEAs in support of internal and customer requirements.
Outside of customer specific responsibilities, the Product Quality Engineer is also responsible for providing support of the internal quality system. These responsibilities may include involvement in internal procedure development, training, internal auditing, and other tasks as assigned.
