Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Quality Technician is to facilitate the gathering and when necessary the generation of certification package (cert pack) for shipments.  Review and approval of the cert packs, perform internal source inspections, facilitate customer service inspections, perform desk audits, assist in customer and third party audits.  Assist in developing quality plans; assist other departments in determining acceptability of product. Assist in developing corrective actions for quality problems, assist in ensuring adherence to quality procedures and customer specifications.  Preparing and updating, assist in developing and implementing effective statistical tools. Additionally you will be completing parts inspections on the production floor.
 
The Quality Technician is responsible for aiding the Quality Manager to ensure effective quality controls are in place in all areas of the plant.
