We are currently seeking candidates to work in a union job position for our manufacturing process for the following department:
PM3000 Department:
This is a permanent position on 2nd shift - 2 pm to 10 pm Monday thru Friday
We pay shift differential on this shifts: 2nd +.40
1 year molding or manufacturing experience in a heavy industrial environment.
Employees are required to learn all operations i.e.: molding, pouring, bandsaw, knockout, grinding, heat treat and straightening.
The operator has many environmental exposures: Extreme heat the machines are approximately 800 degrees, Molten Aluminum, fire, dust, fumes, gases, odors.
Per the Minnesota Rule 5200.0910 PROHIBITED EMPLOYMENTS OF MINORS UNDER 18 YEARS OLD No minor under the age of 18 shall be employed at Carley Foundry
The job positions are physically demanding requiring repetitive duties such as: LIFTING/CARRYING: 60 LBS. POSTURE/MOVEMENTS: Push/Pull 60 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist at waist, climb, crawl, crouch, kneel, squat, bend neck forward/upward, reaching overhead, with outstretched arms HAND WORK Repetitive use of right and left hands with pinch/grasp force ENVIROMENTAL EXPOSURES: EXTREME HEAT Molten Aluminum, fire, dust, fumes, gases, odors, vibration, mechanical moving equipment
Candidate must be self motivated, detail orientated, dependable with a good attendance record and have a positive attitude.
