Position Description

 

Job Purpose:

The Program Manager will manage multi-disciplinary projects that are both regional and global in scope. The Program Manager will lead multi-site, cross functional project teams that include Documentation, Technical Support, Engineering, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Purchasing and others as required to ensure quality, on-time and within budget deliverables for large, strategic and tactical projects.

 

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee vendor relationships including third party implementation teams

Provide weekly status reports to the senior management and key project stakeholders

Prepare a variety of periodic and ad hoc reports for technical management and business groups and distribute project related data and documentation as appropriate including; project status reports, vendor information, and requirements documents

Develop and maintain project documentation

Manage project issues, decisions and risks, including escalation to sponsors

Oversee all project activities on a day-to-day basis to ensure on-time completion of planned tasks.

Assist Director with PMO activities as required

This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including but not limited to FDA, Quality Systems Regulations, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes).   

Engage others, promote, and participate in  Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement

 

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelor's degree and ten years related experience or equivalent experience and education in a related field

Masters degree in engineering, with seven to ten years medical, or closely related experience also meets requirements.

A MBA in combination with a technical bachelors degree and six or more years medical, or closely related experience also meets requirements.

Cumulative GPA of 3.0, or above, in engineering major is required.

Experience in regulated industries such as Medical Devices

PMP certification required

Strong project management skills and solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools and techniques

Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines and expectations while ensuring overall quality of delivery

Confidence in preparing and delivering presentations to small and large groups.
