Engineering Manager
Description
Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership in development of products and processes in filtration market.
  • Manage a team for research and development work.
  • Deliver new or upgraded technologies into marketplaces within project and design guidelines.
  • Engage with business units to identify technology requirements, understand markets' needs and plan development activities.
  • Provides technical updates and high level technical support on possible product applications, evaluation of customer requirements and/or the solution of technical problems.
  • Recognizes obstacles to project plans and provides alternative solutions to ensure project stays within pre-established deadlines.
  • Keeps informed of new and improved designs, methods and other advances in engineering technology as a basis for influencing the direction of future product and process developments.
  • Expand new technologies by envisioning the future and inventing technical solutions to address customer and industry needs.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Polymer Science or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in the development of products or processes in an engineering or science field.
  • Previous supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management experience.
