This position in our Therapies department will provide direct and indirect family focused therapy services for patients to increase functional abilities, independence and community integration. Contribute to department, program and service teams to assure achievement of desired outcomes.

Hours: On-Call

Job Requirements :

Required:

  • State licensure (annual).
  • ASHA certification (annual) preferred.
  • Knowledge of child growth and development, rehabilitation theory and practice with a wide variety of pediatric diagnoses and related considerations including anatomy and neurology, emotional behavior factors, family needs and issues, community transition and equipment.
  • Skills include effective verbal and written communication, ability to function as an effective team member, and competency in pediatric evaluation, treatment and related family/community education and planning for transition to community services.
  • Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
  • Adults with childhood onset disabilities experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Education : Bachelor's Degree
