Department Overview |
|
The Children's Emergency departments, located in Minneapolis and St. Paul, are staffed 24 hours-a-day by board-eligible or board-certified pediatric emergency physicians and by nurses with specialized education in pediatric emergency medicine. Each facility is designed to support short-stay needs, coordinate pediatric and neonatal care transport, assault and abuse services, access to pediatric specialists, and emergency telephone consultation and referral. In addition, Child Life staff, trained in child development, help children prepare for procedures and deal with anxiety. |

Position Summary |
|
Overall responsibility for creating an environment that meets the mission of Children's through customer service initiatives, optimization of resources and revenue enhancement. Responsible and accountable for resource management, systems planning, development, maintenance, evaluation and statistical/financial analysis and reporting. Responsible for providing leadership, technical expertise and functional direction to others to achieve optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required. MHA or MBA with clinical background preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to organize & analyze data, develop metrics and problem solve required. |
