Job Description

Farmers Financial Services and Insurance is looking for individuals in the Twin Cities Metro Area who are looking for the perfect opportunity to make a career transition that will benefit them financially and at the same time offer them time freedom not found in any other employer setting.

This opportunity will allow you to continue to work at your current position (if necessary) while learning to eventually transition into a full-time position within the Farmers’ Franchise of Independent Agents.

What makes this opportunity unique compared to other financial services and insurance opportunities are two important aspects; first, we pay you a sign-on bonus along with a base subsidy while you establish your business, and second, you actually own your own BOOK OF BUSINESS!

The potential candidate will have multiple job duties and responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

• Becoming licensed in all Minnesota state insurance lines, including Property/Casualty and Life, Accident, and Health. The candidate will also be required to obtain their Securities 6&63 licenses before or after completion of their initial training program. • Training and development in Farmers’ product lines and services in multiple settings, including one-to-one, group sessions, and self-study. • Establishing and running an independent agency, which includes but is not limited to general accounting/budgeting, marketing, sales, management of staff, and policy growth.

Qualifications:

• Entrepreneurial or sales/marketing background preferred, but not required • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, highly professional environment • Coachable/Trainable attitude with focus on ongoing learning and development • Ability to learn company software programs and consultative marketing approach • Must be at least 18 years old

Our top team member earns over $400,000 a year. Our average fulltime agent income is over $10,100 per month. You control your own destiny with Farmers.

Getting Started With Farmers, you will be able to start out either Part-Time or Full-Time.

Our training program is flexible, and if you qualify, Farmers will offer you an excellent financial assistance program to get you started with your business.

This unique program allows you to earn up to an additional $65,000 over two years to build your business. This is in addition to the commissions you earn.
