Position Description
The JTP/JOB$ Mental Health Coordinator is responsible for the provision of an array of services to their assigned case load, including (but not limited to) case coordination, advocating on behalf of assigned clients, and communicating effectively with other providers and/or staff. This position provides mental health, basic living, psycho-social, and vocational training to individuals diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness.
The Jobs Training Program is for individuals who are new to the Tasks Unlimited programs and who do not live in a Tasks Unlimited lodge, but who would like vocational and mental health support services. The JOB$ program is for clients who have graduated from the training program and who are currently employed at one of our many vocational sites throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. This position works with a mixed caseload of trainees and graduated clients.
Requires Bachelor's degree in a social services field and at least one year of experience in working with adults who have been diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness.
