H.O.M.E.S., Inc. was developed in 1972 for the purpose of providing support services to people with developmental disabilities.

AccessAbility, Inc. provides an array of programs and services to meet the changing life needs of adults with a variety of barriers to employment and community inclusion including individuals with disabilities and economic disadvantages. The mission of AccessAbility is to provide opportunities for self-sufficiency for people with barriers to employment and community inclusion.

ADRC’s offer the general public a single entry point for information and assistance on issues affecting older people, and people with disabilities regardless of their income. These resource centers are welcoming and convenient places for you and your family to get information, advice and access to a wide variety of service options.

Welcome to the Aging and Disability Resource Center of St. Croix County. We are a no-cost, single point of contact for information and assistance to residents of St. Croix County. We can help you sort through all of the options that are available for older adults and adults with disabilities along with their family members and caregivers.

Emerging as an effective task force, our mission has been joined and enhanced by other community citizens of dedication and skill, many of whom have generously participated in various critical activities of our organization.

Our mission is to secure for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families the opportunity to realize their goals of where and how they live, learn, work and play.

BLIND, Incorporated was founded in 1986 by blind Minnesotans who believed that, given the proper training and opportunity, blind people can lead normal, independent, and fulfilled lives. We believe that "blindness is respectable" and that with proper training, the average blind person can succeed in his or her chosen field and personal endeavors. We are affiliated with the National Federation of the Blind, which believes blind people are seeking the same goals as all Americans: independence, self-sufficiency and satisfying and gainful employment.

Since 1973, Chrysalis has provided the Twin Cities with high-quality, cost effective programs and services. What has made Chrysalis such an important and effective resource for the community over the past 33 years is our progressive approach to service and our ability to respond to the changing environment. Programs and services are developed in response to the varied needs of the women and children living in our community.

Community Connections Partnership, established in 1986, is a non-profit organization serving individuals with disabilities. CCP was instrumental in helping people transition from restrictive, institutional settings to an inclusive, community-based lifestyle. Currently, CCP serves over 185 individuals from the seven-county Twin Cities metro area. CCP’s philosophy has always been to provide positive, meaningful services which allow individual’s to use their skills and to be able to choose and find what they would like to do.

The mission of Courage Center, a not-for-profit rehabilitation organization, is to empower people with physical disabilities to reach for their full potential in every aspect of life. We are guided by the vision that one day, all people will live, work, learn and play in a community based on abilities not disabilities.

It is the mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota to provide information, resources and support to individuals with Down syndrome, their families and their communities.

Goodwill/Easter Seals Minnesota helps people with disabilities, disadvantages and other barriers reach their goals. We do it by providing job preparation, Skills Training, job placement and support services. Our 630 employees provide statewide services to Minnesotans from 22 locations.

Guild Incorporated is a health and human services organization that exists to help people with mental illness lead quality lives. Our commitment to helping individuals achieve success in the community despite significant psychiatric disabilities dates back to the early 1970’s. We help those who have the greatest difficulty with basic daily activities and who have persistent symptoms that are not easily relieved. Today, we assist approximately 700 Minnesotans on any given day, serving more than 1,213 over the course of a year.

HLAA (formerly SHHH) is the largest international consumer organization dedicated to the well-being of people who do not hear well. We believe people can help one another, be helped, and participate successfully in society. The primary purpose is to educate ourselves, our relatives and friends about the causes, nature and complications of hearing loss and what can be done about it. Members work to develop options for themselves and open doors for others. HLAA encourages you to practice self help to bridge the communication gap between those who can't hear well and those who can.

At Independence Center Inc., our Mission is "creating opportunities for people with special needs." This is accomplished by helping the participants achieve individual goals that are identified specifically for each person. Over the past thirty years, the program has been modified to accommodate persons with high medical needs as well as persons seeking educational and therapeutic services.

Kaposia, inc. seeks to enhance the community and each individual through finding people with disabilities meaningful employment at competitive wages, providing employers with competent, motivated and committed employees, and offering retired workers who may be disabled with a way to stay vital and active in the community.
