The mission of ASWA is to enable women in all accounting and related fields to achieve their full personal, professional and economic potential and to contribute to the future development of their profession.

Asian Women United of Minnesota (AWUM) is a community-based, nonprofit organization committed to ending violence against Asian women and children, empowering Asian women and girls, and building stronger and safer communities. Through our various programs we work to increase awareness, provide services, and break down the cultural barriers that bar and stereo-type Asian women and girls.

The Association for the Advancement of Hmong Women in Minnesota (AAHWM) recognizes Hmong women's strengths and desires to succeed through providing cross-cultural services, education and advocacy. AAHWM was formed in 1981 as the first non-profit organization operated by Hmong women, for Hmong women, in the United States. The organization was established to address the evolving needs of Hmong women and their families. Today, AAHWM helps women and girls from Minnesota's 60,000 Hmong gain knowledge and skills to help them succeed and plan for their future and the future of their families.

Career Transitions for Women helps high-potential career women achieve work and life satisfaction through career planning, positioning and coaching. Services are offered in Minneapolis/St. Paul locations.

The mission of the International Self-Reliance Agency for Women (ISAW) is to provide immigrant and refugee women of all ages, and their children, with access to opportunities that will help them develop long term self-reliance and improve the quality of life for themselves, their families, and the community.

The Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center (MIWRC) is a non-profit organization that provides a comprehensive set of gender and culturally based services for American Indian women and their families. Located in the Philips neighborhood of Minneapolis and founded in 1984, MIWRC provides a broad range of programs designed to educate and empower American Indian women, their families and the surrounding community.

Every year the organization puts on several events on at the University of Minnesota Morris campus. These include Take Back the Night, Love Your Body Day, The Vagina Monologues and Equal Pay Day. The University of Minnesota is an equal opportunity educator and employer.

Safe Haven Shelter serves a seven-county area in northern Minnesota, including St. Louis, Koochiching, Aitkin, Lake, Carlton, Itasca and Cook counties. We provide services and education for more than 1,500 women and children annually. We also accept referrals from other regions and states.

The Jeremiah Program, a broad-based collaborative community initiative, assists low-income mothers and their children to help themselves complete their education and achieve economic self-sufficiency through empowerment skills, access to affordable housing, child development services, health care, support services and meaningful employment. The Jeremiah Program mothers and children develop positive self-esteem and clarify their values on which to build a successful life.

Women Achieving New Directions is the single working mom's connection. We serve low-income single parents employed full or part time. In our Raise the Roof Workshop Series, jobseekers learn how to negotiate the highest possible salary, identify interests and strengths, connect with other successful women, set goals for today and tomorrow, create powerful resumes and letters, and ace the interview. Other services include a mentorship program, family fun events, current job listings, career clothes closet, monthly connections to meet and network with other women, and on-site childcare.

The mission of Women's Advocates, Inc. is to eliminate domestic violence in the lives of battered women and their children. The agency's goals are to: assist women through shelter, support, information, advocacy, and education to successfully leave violent relationships; teach children and youth to use non-violent alternatives when relating to others; and change community attitudes about domestic violence through information and education.

A unit of the Office for Equity and Diversity, the Women’s Center increases connections for women’s success, cultivating socially responsible leaders, and advocating for organizational culture change toward excellence for all.

The Women's Resource and Action Center seeks to provide all women support and encouragement on the University of Minnesota-Duluth campus. The Center works to empower women, both individually and collectively, through the provision of a wide variety of services and resources.

The Anne Pederson Women's Resource Center recognizes the need for women to find connections in life, career, and education. The Center provides a forum to connect women and gives them connections to launch their own careers and educational pursuits.
