About the role:

Lead a team to effectively manage and grow Deal Desk support for the global Consulting organization. Drive the ongoing evolution of the Consulting Deal Desk through business awareness and process monitoring to improve a globally consistent strategy, and building rapport with the Industry Leaders, Region Leaders, and Managing Partners.

What you'll do:

  • Drive and enable our Managing Partners and Industry Leads productivity which will be measured through Deal Desk metrics, monthly reporting, and qualitative feedback.

  • Improve Deal Desk new hire productivity ramp up time.

  • Work with OMB/Finance/Risk/Legal to ensure smooth transition to Deal Desk processes.

  • Function as single point of contact for concerns/escalations on process management.

  • Function as liaison with HR/Recruitment for all issues related to recruiting, hiring, and direct reports.

  • Ensure all Managing Partners and Industry Lead new hires are properly onboarded to the Deal Desk process effectively.

  • Communicate business impact to Regional Business Analyst team in a transparent and collaborative effort to drive strong forecast hygiene and business impact.

  • Effectively lead and manage a team of 8-10 Deal Desk associates/managers in the achievement of tasks and goals aligned to the execution of the Deal Desk strategy.

  • Working with the VP, Consulting Ops, effectively manage resource requirements for growing and scaling the Deal Desk.

  • Lead change management and process improvement initiatives with the team; highlight bright spots, best practices, and drive global consistency.

  • Ensure the team understands and can execute existing policies and procedures, the impact to Consulting's business and effective communication to field associates.

  • Serve as the escalation point for all Deal Desk associates with complicated deals that may require subject matter experts or escalation to business leaders.

  • Ensure effective onboarding and training of Deal Desk new hires and provide mentorship and coaching for continued growth.

  • Represent the Deal Desk during any global or regional calls on any business initiative.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 10 years+ Business and Analytical experience

  • 4+ years manager experience

  • Salesfore.com experience a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience to manage a full team at various levels.

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in a sales, contracts, or finance environment.

  • Proven record of Project Management that drives productivity results.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. In particular, the ability to convey complex requests in an efficient and effective manner.

  • Highly detailed orientated and process driven.

  • Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change.

  • Effectively translate business requirements to Consulting Technology and Business Analytics team for Professional Service Application and dashboards/reporting needs

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 116,000 USD - 164,220 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
