Job Description

The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $114,000 - $150,000 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Red Wing Shoe Company is seeking a Region Operations Manager to join our West region, supporting our company owned, and dealer owned retail store operations and relationships amongst the territory which includesNorthern CA - SF/Sacramento & Northern Nevada.

The Region Operations Manager is responsible for the execution of operational plans for assigned Red Wing Shoe Stores (RWSS). They will establish relationships with Red Wing retail business partners and investors to optimize distribution, maximize sales revenue, and drive profitable growth; while managing Retail staff through best practices and in support of our dealership stores to enhance productivity, profitability, and Red Wing Shoe Company brand standards.

The Region Operations Manager will collaborate with regional and corporate partners to achieve annual regional goals, implement brand standards, policies, and programs, inspire and influence top talent in their organization, and ensure strong brand awareness through our products at Red Wing Shoe Company.

This role will report to Region Retail Director for our North America Business Unit and be responsible for managing Company owned and influencing Dealer owned RWSS.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field of study, with a minimum of three years of retail management and/or industrial experience in an organization; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of two years of multi-store management responsibility isrequired.

Qualified candidates should have thorough knowledge of Red Wing Shoe Company products, go-to-market strategy, and logistics;Collaborative and teamwork mentality within a matrixed organization;Demonstrated leadership including effective coaching, engagement, and development skills; Strong team effectiveness through communication, influencing, and recognition; Ability to inspire throughlearning and sharing of knowledge and expertise through formal and informal channels; Profit and loss accountability; Strategic thinking and planning; Ability to be nimble to drive change that enables efficiencies and drives growth; Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel, and Outlook; Analytical abilities related to forecasting inventory, expense management, profitability, and consumer selling; Strong retail inventory management knowledge.

Work Environment:

This position is a remote, office environment. This candidate must live within the assigned region (San Francisco/Sacramento area).Frequent travel requirements up to 50% of the time within their region, and some business travels for strategic meetings and annual sales meetings.
