EQ is seeking a qualified Shareowner Transaction Specialist to join our team in Mendota Heights, MN.

**This position is a temp-to-perm HYBRID ROLE in Mendota Heights, MN**

Summary

The Securities Services Specialist is part of the Check Replacement Team and plays a key role in ensuring check replacement requests in the business are processed accurately and timely.


Functions/Responsibilities

*Pulls and reconciles daily check replacement reports

*Researches and resolves out of balances

*Processes daily check replacement and wire requests accurately and timely within SLAs

*Manages special handling requests from shareholders and other departments

*Escalates time sensitive and large exceptions to management appropriately

*Works with IT to resolve file and system issues effectively to manage risk

*Provides training and answers daily production questions as needed

*Leads and/or participates in production improvement efforts

*Leads and/or participates in department projects as assigned

*Provides back-up support to other departments as appropriate

Education Requirements

* High School diploma or higher

Experience Requirements

* 2+ years of experiences in one or a combination of the following: customer service, operations, financial services, accounting, business processing, analytical, financial, or clerical

Skills and Abilities

*Excellent typing and 10-key skills

*Strong attention to details and accuracy skills

*Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills

*Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

*Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

*Ability to work independently, proactively, and creatively while exercising sound judgement

*Solid problem solving skills

*Strong time management skills

*Must be able to effectively read, write and speak English.

*May require the need to travel to other locations.

*Willing and able to work extended hours as needed.

Compensation: $18 - $20 Hourly
