Position Summary:

As a Commercial Sales Account Manager at SIG SAUER, you will play a vital role in achieving and surpassing monthly and annual sales targets. You will identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospects. Building and managing multi-level relationships with key decision-makers will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will collaborate with Product Managers to optimize customer product offerings and support the execution of sales and promotional marketing campaigns.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Identifies and qualifies new business opportunities within both existing Accounts and prospects.
  • Supports the Development and on-going Management multi-level relationships with key customer decision-makers.
  • Participates in research, development, and execution of short and territory sales and promotional marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinates with Product Managers to optimize customer product offerings.
  • Provides input into the development and implementation of promotional campaigns, technical presentations, and customer training.
  • Achieve and exceed territory monthly targets for customer visits.
  • Serves as cross-functional liaison within SIG Sauer as it relates to customer, product, and service needs.
  • Participates in market research to understand customer needs and in support of the development of account plans and market strategies.
  • Maintains up to date understanding of industry trends, technical developments, and government regulations that affect target markets.
  • Utilizes CRM tools to document activity and communicate pertinent data. (Sales Force)

Experience & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Attainment of monthly territory sales targets by customer and product line.
  • Supports/Coordinates business review process with Supervisor.
  • Meet budgetary requirements for assigned customer base.
  • Perform an agreed-upon number of customer visits/calls based on channel.
  • Builds and maintains mutually beneficial relationships with both direct and non-direct Customers.
  • Maintenance of annual customer contract process and monitoring of adherence to requirements.

Working Conditions:

  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
