The Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology (MCN) seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our busy clinic location in Burnsville, Minnesota. This position will provide services to general neurology patients with a special focus on patients who have headache concerns. Responsibilities will be to perform physical exam (new patient consults and rechecks), coordinate patient care, manage prescriptions and provide patient/family education. Will also perform Botox injections for treatment of headaches.
This position is 8:00 - 5:00, Monday through Friday, with no call, evenings or weekends.
Master's degree from Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with certification and current MN license required. Experience with neurology, cardiology, internal or pulmonary medicine experience desired. We are open to individuals with experience as well as newer graduates who have a strong interest in learning neurology. Candidates must possess excellent clinical skills and be able to function with a high level of autonomy. Must also be self-motivated and detail-oriented; and possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with electronic health record required, Epic preferred.
