WAGES AND BENEFITS

$25.00 - 26.44 per hour; generous vacation (3 weeks in year 1, increasing after) and sick time policies, plus 9 paid holidays and 3 floating holidays per year; competitive health, dental, life and disability and vision insurance; short- and long-term disability insurance; health savings and flexible spending accounts; retirement matching at 3% with immediate vesting.

SCHEDULE

This position is typically expected to work in-office three days per week with the ability to work from home as duties allow up to two days per week.

A Typical Day in the Life...

A typical day as FamilyWise's Database Coordinator provides an opportunity to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the organization's program data by administering the agency's client databases in partnership with the Senior Evaluation Analyst. Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Performing regular database audits to maintain data integrity.
  • Managing structural changes to program databases to optimize performance in partnership with program staff and MACC consultants.
  • Serving as the subject matter expert in data management, including participation in trainings and MACC workgroups on data management topics.
  • Onboarding database users to ensure staff are properly set up in our database and that they understand our agency-wide data policies and practices as well as program-specific data entry protocols.
  • Providing ongoing user support such as resetting passwords, assisting in ad hoc data cleanup projects, training users on database changes, monthly office hours, etc.
  • Preparing reports on participant data for grants, contracts, program managers, and all staff.
  • Implementing data management and data security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Maintaining database training documentation and updating materials to reflect new database developments and increase ease of use for staff.
  • Compiling data and creating infographics for annual Family Wellbeing Index report.
  • Enhancing reporting through increased automation, creation of dashboards for aiding in data-driven decision-making, etc.
  • Developing and implementing new data collection methods and systems for tracking program data in partnership with Senior Evaluation Analyst.
  • Providing file management support pertaining to records and documentation related to client data to staff ongoing as needed.
  • Supporting development and implementation of data management systems for fundraising events like Adopt a Family and Radiothon.

Who You Are

  • You hold a bachelor's degree or have demonstrably equivalent knowledge gained through alternative courses of study and life experience.
  • You have a minimum of one year of work experience in data collection, data analysis, and reporting statistics in an accurate and meaningful way.
  • You have a minimum of one year of work experience with CRM databases such as Salesforce, ETO, or eTapestry; experience with ClientTrack or Apricot is preferred.
  • You demonstrate knowledge of the human services nonprofit sector; experience working in a nonprofit setting is preferred.
  • Commitment to the values of integrity, reliability, initiative, curiousity, and equity as they relate to data and how we use the information we have at our disposal.
  • You possess strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to organize ideas, materials, and workflow.
  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to demonstrate professionalism in writing and relationship building.
  • You have the ability to perform day-to-today tasks using an approach that is consistent, methodical, and patient.
  • You have the ability to work in diverse environments and achieve results both individually and working with others.
  • You have the ability to assist coworkers, supervisors, and clients in a cooperative, solutions-oriented manner.
  • You are an advanced user of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Google Forms and Sheets; and you are adaptable to new technology.

  • You have a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet FamilyWise's driving record requirements. Please note that if the license was not issued in the state of Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident in which to apply for your Minnesota driver's license or permit (not applicable for new hires living out of state).
