MRA (The Management Association) is seeking a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will initiate contact with potential business prospects, convert those leads into MRA members across Minnesota, and develop and maintain strong relationships with MRA members to provide the most effective, customized solutions to meet their needs.

As a Business Development Manager at MRA, you get to:

• Grow new memberships for MRA.
• Maintain high member retention (95% or higher).
• Make outbound calls for grassroots prospecting and leads with follow-up calls to potential customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell new memberships and services.
• Market MRA services such as training, local briefings, roundtables, and HR business solution services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with MRA members, potential members, and business networks in order to provide the most effective, customized solutions to meet their business needs.
• Partner with marketing to create regular campaigns for nurturing leads.
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5-7 years of experience in sales/business development, association management, or human resource-related field.
• Experience using CRM systems. Salesforce preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and the ability to travel throughout your territory including visiting members at their locations, primarily in MN.
