This Finance Position will support the OptumInsight Admin Solutions - Revenue Services area inclusive of budgeting/forecasting, reporting, analytics, investment tracking, productivity savings planning, strategic initiatives modeling, and other ad hoc financial support. Position will provide financial oversight of the Market Performance Partnership (MPP) contracts including financial implementation, base cost and fee reconciliation, billing reconciliation, proforma analysis/reporting, contract change control support, and work closely with Account Client Executives and Operations teams on expense efficiency initiatives or growth opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
  • Participates in the development of business strategy with client executive teams
  • Leads large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
  • Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
  • Management of large, complex contracts, negotiations, complex modeling, vendor management, compliance, etc.
  • Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches to drive financial performance
  • Participates in due diligence for market level implementations and potential acquisition strategies of customer

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business
  • 5+ years of finance/accounting experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel skills, including significant financial modeling experience
  • Experience working collaboratively and influencing others within a matrix organization
  • Proven ability to work independently with little supervision, prioritize work and be a self-starter
  • Proven excellent written communication skills and the ability to verbally communicate ideas clearly & confidently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Healthcare, Technology, and/or Revenue Cycle Management experience
  • Understanding of third-party contracts and concepts

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
