NaphCare is hiring Paramedics just like you at the Hillsborough County Jail located in Tampa, FL. Full Time Day Shifts, Full Time Night Shifts, Part Time Shifts, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available! Pay rates range from $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on Shift, FT, PT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, and experience.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.

Position Description:

  • Coordinate, structure, implement and guide the delivery of paramedic services within the facility
  • Take and document all patient history and vital signs
  • Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures and patient assessments
  • Assist with examinations and/or treatments
  • Assist with orientation and training activities of new paramedics
  • Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
