About the Role:

  • Drive Growth: Actively promote the RED-E-DUCT Precast Duct Bank product line to expand the pipeline and drive sales.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the application and design of the RED-E-DUCT product line. Continually enhance technical expertise and knowledge of CONTECH products. Maintain knowledge and certifications in the applicable engineering field.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the RED-E-DUCT commercial team and clients to create project-specific designs, considering design constraints and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Estimation: Develop comprehensive information for estimates and quotations.
  • Client Interaction: Present project-specific solutions to clients, offering preliminary recommendations and integrating our products on site plans. Respond to client inquiries and industry questions related to projects.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Provide regular communication and support to internal teams and engineering clients throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with project engineers/managers within the RED-E-DUCT team for seamless project transitions at the release-to-manufacture stage.
  • Project Management: Utilize CRM and Smartsheet to manage projects and pipeline efficiently, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete information.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about competition and market trends.
  • Team Support: Provide technical and marketing assistance to other team members when required.

Qualifications:

  • Required Degree: 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree with a focus in civil, electrical, mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
  • 3 years of related experience. Electrical or civil construction experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate while working with multiple teams in remote non-face-to-face situations.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for the business and achieving organizational goals.
  • Ability to review and understand standard engineering documentation.
  • Ability to develop sales opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Team player: able to share thoughts openly, accept new ideas and get the job done in a highly interactive process.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, database management software, CAD experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks preferred).
  • Occasional travel to engineering firms, manufacturing locations, and projects for project-specific consulting.
