POSITION OPENING: Maintenance-Custodial Summer
CLASSIFICATION: Summer Custodial Worker
WORK DAYS: Monday - Friday
HOURS: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
WAGES: $17.13 per hour
NUMBER OF POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 10
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing custodial functions at District Schools & Facilities.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform CustodiaL Tasks and Projects as Directed. Duties include mopping, sweeping, dumping trash, cleaning glass and bathrooms, set-up and clean-up for special events, vacuuming and changing light bulbs where assigned.
2. Other Duties as Assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, LICENSE, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):
Required:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Valid driver's license; restrictions preventing the operation of district equipment are not allowed
3. Able to follow verbal and written direction
4. Ability to perform routine computer functions, including the use of email, Internet navigation and Microsoft Word
5. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
6. Prompt, regular and reliable attendance
7. Communicates with students, parents, co-workers, supervisors, and the community in a positive and responsive way that is consistently welcoming and enhances effective work relationships.
8. Demonstrates an appreciation of diversity in all interactions and job functions.
