Position Summary:

The Senior Product Manager, Patient and HCP Marketing is responsible for leading the development and execution of FILSPARI (sparsentan) patient and HCP focused assets and programs through various channels aligned with the brand strategy and tactical plan. This position will execute key promotional strategies through tactical development and execution of activities across both Patient and HCP programs in support of the full approval and ongoing adoption of FILSPARI, the first non-immunosuppressive therapy approved for the treatment of IgA nephropathy (received accelerated approval in February 2023).

The preferred applicant will lead the implementation of brand strategy aligned with thinking on channel-level marketing activities (e.g. targeting) that improve channel effectiveness across Patient and HCP. The applicant should have experience supporting pharmaceutical brands through tactical design and pull-through. The ideal candidate should have a general understanding in disease state and brand development with deep experiences in Patient and/or HCP marketing including developing tactical plans aligned with brand strategy, executing digital media activities, creating video assets, and managing CRM programs. The role will primarily be focused on supporting the full approval of FILSPARI and ongoing launch adoption and will require base knowledge of customer engagement activities and general support for pharma marketing activities.

Responsibilities:


* Translate brand strategy into multi-channel tactics and resources that help drive customer engagement across Patient and HCP
* Develop content strategy to pull Brand assets through prioritized channels to activate customers across all stakeholders
* Serve as point of contact for digital media activities and direct day-to-day activities of Agency of Record and affiliated digital media agencies
* Lead patient and caregiver Customer Relations Management (CRM) program development, deployment, and optimization
* Lead creation of video assets for inclusion across promotional channels including Patient, HCP, and Thought Leader engagement
* Partner with Corporate Communications to refine and implement the brand PR strategy across stakeholders
* Direct social media strategy and engagement across brand verticals
* Provide tactical planning and support for full approval of FILSPARI (sparsentan) in IgAN
* Ensure that the product positioning, branding and messaging are integrated throughout all channel communications
* Engage and support the management of Agency of Record to execute relevant projects and ensure deliverables are within budget and achieve commercial objectives
* Self-starter with strong project management skills and have experience working in a Pharma-regulated environment including PRC engagement and management
* Collaborate between Patient and HCP marketing teams and work cross-functionally by partnering with Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Analytics Market Access, Patient Advocacy and Patient Services to drive key cross-functional strategic initiatives

Education/Experience Requirements:


* Bachelor's Degree in Business or relevant Life Sciences discipline. Advanced degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
* Minimum of 6+ years of relevant work experience
* Minimum of 3+ years' related marketing / customer engagement experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, or related agency experience with demonstrated advancement in roles and scope

* Demonstrated learning agility and rapid data-informed decision making
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
* Ability to adapt to modification and changes to project plans, demonstrating flexibility to implement new strategies and tactics to accommodate these changes
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to travel up to 30% domestically
* All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.

Compensation: Our competitive compensation package includes a combination of both cash compensation (base pay and short-term incentive) and long-term incentive compensation (company stock), designed to recognize, retain, and reward employees.

Target Base Pay Range:

$120,000.00 - $165,000.00
