Our growing dermatology office has a full-time opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).  As part of our patient care team, responsibilities would include preparing patients for examination, tests or treatments.  Obtaining history and chief complaint; assisting with biopsies, select surgical and cosmetic procedures and triaging patient phone calls.

Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans, procedures and medications, nursing procedures such as suture removal, dressing changes, patch testing, and initiating pathology and lab requisition documents.  Sterilization of equipment, supplies, exam and procedure rooms using germicides, sterilizer or autoclave.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should be a licensed LPN, self-starter, reliable, detail oriented, clear communicator, possess a strong capability for multi-tasking in a fast paced environment, and have a friendly, professional demeanor.
